OUR HISTORY
From 1966 to 1978, while serving as an assistant prosecutor, and, later,
corporation counsel to the state's capitol city, Albert Nevins also maintained a general
law practice.
In 1979, with his brother Richard Nevins, he founded NEVINS & NEVINS, a general practice
law firm located in Hartford, with an emphasis on criminal defense, family law and
general litigation.
After Richard retired, Albert Nevins continued to practice law and expanded his
services to include business practices.
In 2001, Albert Nevins and his niece, Kathleen Nevins, formed the law firm of
NEVINS & NEVINS LLP.
Together, Attorney Albert Nevins and Attorney Kathleen Nevins
practiced in the areas of litigation, personal injury, workers' compensation, family law, criminal defense,
real estate, probate and business counseling.
Then, in 2004, Charles Willson joined NEVINS & NEVINS LLP,
allowing the firm to expand its litigation and commercial practice
areas while adding an appeals practice. Albert Nevins retired at
the end of 2006, and the firm is moving forward under the management of Kathleen Nevins.
